General Summary for Merchant Logistics National Account Representatives:
- Will produce incremental revenue for the region selling Merchant Logistics portfolio of services in a defined geographic territory; MERCHANT LOGISTICS is based in Sacramento, California.
- Contact customers, prospects and collaborate with other sales persons as a freight sales expert, with customers throughtout the United States, to sell Merchant Logistics services. (We cover the entire United States & Canada!)
- Focus on personal sales targets for Merchant Logistics portfolio of services by developing new business opportunities, troubleshooting customer problems and enhancing existing customer relationships.
- May encounter special markets or complex product lines that require significant customer relationship skills.
Qualifications:
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in business administration with a focus on Transportation Logistics -OR-
- 1 ½ to 2 years Freight Sales Experience.
- Strong business relations, communications and negotiation skills are required
